Mountain trails and walkways
The walkway 'Peta klupa' – starts off the Vladimir Nazor street and leads along a 2 km long forest path to the bocce alley. Along the path there are many benches and you can enjoy picking wild blueberries.
THE EDUCATIVE PATH 'ZELENI VIR'
This path familiarizes the visitors with the rich and varied plant life of the reserve.
It consists of three parts that meet at the climbers’ lodge ‘Zeleni vir’. The first leads from the railway station of Skrad (649 m )
up to Zeleni vir and the waterfall by the power-plant (around 2 km); the second goes from the climbers’ lodge Zeleni vir through the
‘Vrajži prolaz’ up to ‘Muževa hiša’ (around 800 m), while the third passes by the creek Curak and goes to the hamlet of Ložac (1.8 km).
All together there are 19 educative boards. Most of them show plants that are characteristic of this area with photos of the
most important and frequent species: medical herbs, edible forest fruits, rare and protected plants, spring plants, ferns,
edible and poisonous mushrooms of this region; but they also show the animal world, as well as plants growing on rocks, in gullies and canyons.
